Dear 4-6,
I hope you have all had a good break over the long weekend. Of course, before we can break for our September holidays, we do need to ensure that tomorrow goes well too. Just a little reminder that you are having your Composition test and Science Practical test tomorrow, I do hope you have done the necessary practice and revision. Also, our classroom will be temporarily shifted to SCIENCE LAB 2 for tomorrow. Please do not go back to our 4-6 classroom as it is being used for the practical test.
I was very inspired by the videos that Mr AJ showed us all on thursday. I am attaching the links for you to go and view the videos and think about what it means to you. Let us put our past mistakes aside, and look forward to what can be done for the upcoming term. Remember, it is your ATTITUDE that determines how far you can go with your ABILITY.

Bonding Time 24th August 2011
Quotes on Success and Failure
Dear P4-6,
Below are several quotes that we will be using for bonding time tomorrow.
1. "Failure is only the opportunity to begin again, only this time more wisely."~ Henry Ford
2. "There is no failure except in no longer trying. " ~ Elbert Hubbard
3. "If you have made mistakes, even serious ones, there is always another chance for you. What we call failure is not the falling down, but the staying down." ~ Mary Pickford
4. "Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising every time we fail."
~ Confucius
5. "Would you like me to give you a formula for success? It's quite simple, really. Double your rate of failure. You are thinking of failure as the enemy of success. But it isn't at all. You can be discouraged by failure or you can learn from it, So go ahead and make mistakes. Make all you can. Because remember that?s where you will find success." - Thomas J. Watson
6. "The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will." Vincent T. Lombardi
7.Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be
8. “For success, attitude is equally as important as ability.”

Tests are around the Corner!
Yes, we now have a class blog!
In time to come, I will be posting articles, videos, questions and various comments about certain issues which you will be able to read and share your opinions and feedback as well.
For NOW......
It's preparation time for your Topical Tests!
Remember that this is your final lap before your FINAL EXAMINATIONS that will determine your fate (or which class you go to in P5) :)
No need to be stressed though, for I believe that most of you already possess the knowledge and all you will need to do is revise adequately and be raring to go.
What about you? How do you feel about your upcoming tests? Share your thoughts by posting a comment below the post.
Watch this space for more updates!
Focus Learning Sheet answers will be out on Saturday.
Til then....Happy Studying!
Signing off,
Ms. Priya
