Good News

Hi Boys and Girls

I can see that many of you have been helping each other out with answers and methods to solving questions that others do not know. I'm very happy at seeing you helping one another out.

Through doing this, I believe you are learning more. That's why I'm feeing you up to do your revision this weekend.

As such, no assignment this week. Keep asking and sharing.

See you on Monday.

  5. My answer is 7 for the last question.

    Total n.o. of chairs -->6 * 4
    = 24

    n.o chairs + 4 corners -->24+4
    = 28
    Each side --> 28/4
    = 7

    7 chairs must be put on each side of the square.

  13. Dipthi,on each corner of the square,there is 1 chair(which is repeated).Therefore,each side have 2 corners which will have 2 repeated chairs.Oops,I forgot to add one more step: 20 chairs divided by 4 sides = no. of unrepeated chairs on each side. So, we must add the 2 repeated chairs on each side to get 7 chairs.
